This photograph, taken by Hugh Grey on November 12, 1933, is credited with starting the Loch Ness Monster craze. One explanation is that it is a double negative of a labrador with a stick.(1933年11月12日、ヒュー・グレイが撮影したこの写真は、ネス湖の怪獣ブームの試金石となります。1つの説明は、それがlabradorと棒切れ(酷評=stick) の二重否定であるということです。)

そんな、棒切れをくわえた犬だと言われるだけでなく酷評(stick) 付きのダブルに否定的な写真だったとは…(確かに、そう言われて見たらラブラドールが見えてきた)
