人魂についての纏わる話し、てのはガキん頃、
親戚の誰かが亡くなって、一番年上の、俺なんかの母親の方と年が近いイトコの兄ちゃんが一言ボソっと、
「あ、屋根の上に人魂出よったきね？(九州弁、人魂が出てたからね？)」
と、亡くなった親戚の屋根の上に人魂が2つ飛んでたよ、との発言を聞いたのが最初かな？

この兄ちゃんのいちばん怖いのは、そーいう話をスクープかのように云うわけでなく、ごく日常の在り来たりのエピソードかの如くサラッと当たり前に流すとこ…

この「人魂」の話しだって、当時ガキんちょの俺を怖がらそうとして話してたわけでなく、皆の中での何気ない通常の会話を俺が傍で聞いてた、ってだけだから、

当人がいたって当たり前に普通に話すから、後からじわじわ、さっきの人魂の話しって何だったんだろ？ってなる、

で、親ほど年が離れてるから、詳しく話して？って訊けるほど親しいわけでもないし、

とりあえずこの兄ちゃんは、誰か人が死ぬ度、その家の屋根の上に人魂を見る、ってことだけはアタマの中で想像したりして、

俺は見たことないけど、つーか、今回初めてツベで (UFOカテに括られてた) 人魂らしきを視たけども、

火の玉、つーより、青白い玉がスーッと飛ぶ、らしいよ？
この兄ちゃんにはそーした不思議なもんが見えるらしく、でも当人にはトピックじゃなく日常、ってとこが何かを見る、感じる人の真の特徴なんだよね？

廃墟探訪エピソードなんかを面白おかしくニュースっぽく話したい莫迦を一人、昔知ってたけども、そいつはただの目立ちたがり屋、人の注意を引きたいだけ、

そんな処にわざわざ行ってまで自分に注目集めたい感覚の方が日本人の俺にはイマイチよくわからなかった、

神仏魂の在る現場が怖くない、てのは畏れを知らんのじゃなくマヌケ、違いはでかいな？と、

で？そのイトコの兄ちゃんは今？…故郷から遠く離れたおかげか？人魂の話しなんかしない普通の人になった、不思議なことに…
