importance has been given to the report by two boys out in about on loch ness in 1937 that they had seen ”three small creatures swimming away from the wash…rather like eels except that they had four rudimentary limbs and distinct necks …large lizards…each about 3 ft in length.the front limbs were flipper-like and had merely a waving motion,
while the rear limbs were held close to the body.”this has been used as evidence that the monster is reproducing young.the photograph of a 3ft otter swimming in water of less than 2 ft depth could answer the description given by the boys.
