アンドリュース(Andrews) という名の女性は 1946年または1947年のオーストラリア、クイーンズランド(Queensland) の墓地で 娘の墓を訪問していました。
1945年、17歳の時、彼女の娘ジョイス(Joyce) は、およそ1歳で 早くに亡くなりました。
彼女がジョイスの墓標(grave marker) の写真を撮ったとき、アンドリュースさんは変わったものは何も見ませんでした。
フィルムが現像されたとき アンドリュースさんは、小さな子供(small child) の像(image) が楽し気に(happily) 娘の墓に座っているのを見て驚愕しました。
幽霊の子供(ghost child) 、男の子か女の子は、カメラを直接見ている(カメラ目線なこと) ことから、アンドリュースさんに気づいていたと思われます。
おそらく二重露出ではないでしょうか？
アンドリュースさんは写真を撮っている時には全く(at all) 子供は判らなかったし(recognize)、撮影していた時に 近くにこのような子供は誰も居なかった、その子が娘の幽霊だとは信じていない と述べました。
このケースを調査して、オーストラリアの超常現象研究者 トニー・ヒーリー(Tony Healy) は、1990年代後期に墓地を訪問しました。
ジョイスの墓の近くで、彼は2人の幼い女の子の墓を見つけました。
