何度もカスピトラlogったけど、ポスカ以外で顔のはっきり写る生きた個体はたぶん初。

モノクロながら貴重な写真。初めて見た。

カスピトラ（裏海(りかい)虎、Panthera tigris virgata）、別名ペルシャトラは、カスピ海沿岸のカフカスからアラル海周辺、イラン・アフガニスタン・パキスタン北部の山岳地帯にかけて分布していた食肉目ネコ科に属するトラの一亜種。
すでに絶滅しているはずだったが、2009年に行われた遺伝学的調査で、かつて別の亜種とみられていた現在生息しているアムールトラとほぼ同一であることが分かった。
従ってカスピトラは厳密には絶滅していないとも言えるらしい、

へぇー、じゃ以前にlogった、中国にカスピトラは生きている、てのはあながち間違いではなかった可能性がある、と、

でも、写真で見る限りでは、カスピのあの独特な尻尾の模様ね、アムールには見たことないからなあ？
