トリニティ・アルプス・オオサンショウウオ(Trinity Alps giant salamander) は、北カリフォルニアのトリニティアルプス(Trinity Alps) に棲むことが報告されている疑惑のオオサンショウウオです。

標本(specimen) がこれまでに見つから(回収される、recovered) なかった、そしてそれは認められた種ではなく、しばしば未確認生物と考えられています。

サラマンダー=オオサンショウウオなんだけど、この写真見てるとツチノコに見えない？
！(◎_◎;)
可能性として、標本がない、サラマンダーとされる割りには写真がトカゲっぽい、
(O_O)
もしかして、巨大なツチノコみたいなやつが居るんかも？
(O_o)
だとしたら、居る居る云われてんのにその死骸すら見つからない日本のツチノコと状況が似てはいまいか？

サイズも、”ジャイアント”はサラマンダーには着いて来る冠で、そんなに10メートルとか云われてないとこも、
大っき目のオオサンショウウオ程度では皆様そこまでジャイアントサラマンダーと区別しないとも思うし、

ならもし、ツチノコのデッカいの居たら、ツチノコ知らなかったらサラマンダー、と呼ぶんじゃないかな？と、
