Job 40 (旧約聖書『ヨブ記』40) において、神(Lord) は、実在する歴史的なクリーチャー(a real historical creature) を確実に(infallibly) 描写(describing) しています。
それは、『ビヒモス(Behemoth=巨獣)』と呼ばれています。
既知の生きている動物（例えば象またはカバ）は、一節(passage) には十分(adequately) に合いません。
鍵となる条項 Job 40 17aの詳細分析では、最も自然な解釈は、巨獣の尾がその大きなサイズのために、杉(cedar) と比較されるということを暗示(suggests) します。
従って、最も合理的な解釈は巨獣が大きな動物（現在絶滅した）であったということです。そして、それは巨大な尾を持ちました。
このように、私達の知識の現在の状態に従った完全に合理的な可能性は、絶滅した恐竜のいくつかのタイプを考慮しなければなりません。
