ある種の海の怪物の目撃例の最近の報告が、ミネアポリスのハリエット湖(Lake Harriet in Minneapolis) にありました。

それで、調査しに行ったとき、(中略) 私は流木(driftwood) の大きな破片(large piece)、または何かの大きな浮いているぼんやりした影(blob)、以外の何も見るとは思っていませんでした。
しかし、私はあなたに話さなければなりません、この湖のクリーチャー的なもの(lake creature thing) は実在します(for real)。
私は、湖の東部で私自身の目で彼に会いました。
素早く奔り抜けて(sped) 、私は一枚だけスナップ写真を撮りました(snapped) 。

確かに、ハリエット湖には「ミンヌ」の彫像が在るんだけど、この記事は湖の怪物が「ミンヌ」だとは一切言ってないもんね？

いやいや、ハリエット湖にはらしき生物が存在する、つーウワサがあって彫像が作られたわけだけども、
そーした怪物伝説のある湖畔には、クッシーしかりイッシーしかり、模型、つーかオブジェは大抵置いてあるよね？

そーいう意味じゃ、本人存命だけど銅像が建つ、みたいなことか？

もしかして「ミンヌ」と呼ばれる怪物の彫像とはまた別に、怪物のモデルになった実在のクリーチャーが存在してたってこと？
