1世紀以上の間、物語は、湖棲クリーチャーについての知識(knowledge) を蓄えた(hoarded) 男女の秘密によって神秘(mystery) で覆い隠されてきました。

最初私は、それがおびただしい(onslaught) 突然の嵐に引っかかったカヤックまたはカヌーの何(いず)れか(Some one) であると思いました。
それは私が認識した(realized) 時です、それはカヤックと人間ではありませんでした。
広く蛇行する運動で、彼女(she) は私から離れて泳いでいました。そして、彼女(her) の尾が彼女の背後の湖(water) により高く膨らみ(rising above) ました。
彼女が水に潜り(dove) 姿を消す前に、私には素早く写真を(quick shot) 1枚撮影するのに丁度十分な時間がありました。
そして、彼女がそこに居たことを示す、直ぐに薄まる(quickly fading) る波紋だけを残しました。
しかし、私は写真を得ました。見ることができる明らかな証拠！Blue Dillyの伝説は真実です。
