Rarely seen frilled shark known as the living fossil sighted in Australia(めったに見られなかったフラブカ(frilled shark) は、オーストラリアで見つかる生きた化石として知られています。

ラブカは、南東オーストラリアのギプスランド(Gippsland) 地域(region) の、レイクス・エントランス(Lakes Entrance) 近くの海域(waters) でトロール漁船に引っかかりました。

サウスイーストトロール漁業協会(South East Trawl Fishing Association) の Simon Boag は、地方の記録(local memory) では、生きたラブカが見つかったのはこれが初めてであると言いました。
「我々は、これまでにラブカを見た漁師を見つけることができませんでした」と、彼は地元のリポーターに話しました。

そのムービーの個体は、今にして思えば既に死期が近かったのか、身体が歪んで硬まった感じで、目も白濁してた、

今回の個体は、まず体色が赤茶なのは映像の黒っぽいのとはまた違う、
後は身体が真っ直ぐ、まだそんなに爺さんじゃないのかも、
