ルーガロウ(Rougarou)

ルイジアナにある湿地の生き物、半人半獣。
ブードゥーゾンビのように、彼はしばしば魔術師(witchdoctor) による死亡者の魂の操作の成果。
フランスのloup garou (werewolf=狼男）と似た名前の、それはしばしば赤い目で、通常夜行性です。
ゾンビのように、それはカエルをひどく怖がります。
この人気のフォークロア・クリーチャーは、多くの場合、悪い子を怖がらせるために使用される 霧に包まれしもの(mist) です。

『恐怖のワニ人間』という、ある意味実に腹立たしい、もの哀しいホラーの佳作があるんだけど、
『悪魔の植物人間』にも通ずる、偉大なる傑作『フリークス』と同じ流れのこの映画に出て来んのがこの ↑ ワニ人間。
