青い金属的な色をもつこの種のクモは、名前によってGooty Tarantulaとして知られているて中部で南インドで見つかります。
彼らは、大抵非対称の漏斗のようなクモの巣を作ります。森林の背の高い木の穴に住んでいます。
彼らの主な獲物はその蜘蛛の巣に絡まる飛行昆虫で、その後麻痺させます。
我々人間にとってこのクモの毒液は、1週間も頭痛, 発汗、けいれん、腫れを引き起こします。
