形態学的にそれがハイイロオオカミとコヨーテの中間にあるので、これは雑種の動物である場合があります。
レッドウルフの体長は110～165センチメートル、16～41キロの体重です。
男性は女性よりも約10％大きくなっています。

この珍しいオオカミは、オハイオ川と中央ペンシルバニアのそばの北に、南東大西洋とガルフに沿って生きています。

ある日、カイオート(=コヨーテ。俺アダ名。ディッキー命名)、お前のカズンはジョージか？みたいに訊いてくるからさ、イエス、つって、
したっけ、俺の顔見て妙にナルホド、って感じに頷くのよ、
ユーは、コヨーテ。成る程。ジョージはウルフ、よく似てるよ、と、
もう一人でっかいの居ただろ？あれもカズンか？と、
あれはフォックス(狐)だから、やっぱり一族3人よく似てる、と、

俺はまず、その洞察力に驚いた、つーか、世界チャンピオンてのは、人格もそう、気配りもそう、そして洞察力ももちろん、すげーなーって思ったよ。

だって、G兄と俺を結びつけたのブリスコさんだけだよ？よく気付いたな？って、

ま、欧米人にはそーいう見た目はハッキリ映ってんだろーけど。
つーか、G兄もブリスコさんから見たらやっぱ日本人なんだよな？って気がしたわ。

で、その後、ブリスコさんはジャックがFNなんだけど、俺は実家の犬(雑種)にジャックと名付ける、と。
