This is a rare animal just discovered in the Amazon of Peru. They think it is a type of eel. It measures 4-5 feet, with scales. During flood season, the water comes just under some of the houses in Iquitos, and one family awoke to the scare of their life, when this animal came out from under their bed. They were trying to kill it with a machete, but its scales are so tough that they are impenetrable. They called the police and it is now being studied at a local university.(これはペルーのアマゾンで発見された稀な動物です。ウナギの一種だと思います。
それは目盛りで 4-5 フィートを測定します。洪水の季節の間に水はちょうど、Iquitosのいくつかの住宅の下まで来ます。
