電子顕微鏡検査はクジラ組織と一致している堅いコラーゲン繊維のネットワークを明らかにしました。
また、細胞がブロブのままではないが、そのDNAの断片はマッコウクジラのそれにマッチします。
保たれたサンプルを類似したテストに通すことによって、1896からの「セントオーガスチンの巨大なタコ」、1960匹の「タスマニアン西海岸怪物」、1990年代からの2つの「バミューダブロブ」と1996の「ナンタケットブロブ」がクジラの、まさにきれいに洗われた残骸であることを、研究者は確認しました。

ましてやそれがビーチに漂着した生物のブロブ、とかになるとね、
クジラのDNAに似た、クジラの近縁種、クジラそっくりだが？、とかあるん違う？
